As we continue to feature Toronto’s most talented up-and-coming artists, I’d like to introduce you to the homie Never. Even though his music may be new to most ears in the city, Never has been quietly building momentum, opening live for artists like Pacs Outlaws and Swollen Members. Currently he is focused on completing the recording of his debut project, Imperfection, which features 12 original tracks and 4 bonus freestyles. Back in January, he released his first single off the tape titled “Im Gone” which was very well received and followed by the release of the second single “Eyes Closed” which you can listen to and download below. The song tells a personal story of struggle and triumph, taking you on a four minute ride inside the mind of the artist. Speaking to 1VIBE, he expressed to us that Imperfection has been crafted to evoke a connection between his fans and his music, allowing every listener to see his past and make a personal connection to his journey.
