On December 16th, Rich Hil came to Toronto to celebrate the official launch of Community 54, where he met with fans for an in-store signing, and to perform live inside Wrong Bar. 1VIBE was in the building covering the full event and we caught up with Ricky for an exclusive interview.

During the interview we spoke to Rich about his experience growing up in “The Cut” Connecticut, the hip-hop legends he studied from a young age, Lil Wayne and how he influenced his career, working with producer Infamous (Lil Wayne Prom Queen & Mr.Carter), being signed to Swiss Beatz under Full Surface Records at a very young age and his current relationship with him, where the “Limos Were Cool In The ’90s” idea originated from, his relationship with Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and what to expect from them in the near future, and his experience working with producer Lex Luger on his latest mixtape “500 Grams”.
